Construction of a 7-storey office building in the central district of Mokotow, Warsaw.

Gebomsa planned and executed all the concrete pumping of the project based on the needs of the client.

Pumping was performed using truck-mounted pumps.

Description

Bridge that will cross the Bay of Cadiz and the highest in Europe with a height of 69 meters and a total length of 5 kilometers. Cable-stayed bridge with two large towers, the offshore one measuring 187 meters and the inland one measuring 181 meters. It will carry a dual-carriageway and a double-track railway, on which the Metropolitan Tram of the Bay of Cadiz will run.

The two divisions of Gebomsa, truck-mounted pumps and special pumping, executed this work.

Description

In order to negotiate the large height difference between the Carrion plain and the surrounding land, it is planned to build a large viaduct 840 meters in length and with a maximum height of 70 meters, ending next to the intersection with the CL-615, Palencia direction. The proposed variant also includes the continuation of the crossover structure between the variant and the narrow-gauge railway line to link the east of the town with the current CL-626. In total, the Guardo ring-road will have a length of 4.6 km.

High Speed Rail section running through many towns in the province of Zamora. The work involves the construction of 20.33 km of new rail platform including 1 viaduct, 8 flyovers, 9 underpasses, 2 pergolas over the N- 630 and 2 wildlife crossings. Unique railway elements worthy of mention are the standardization of Montamarta, with a length of 1,510 meters and the Ricobayo reservoir viaduct.

The expansion of the port of Santos passenger terminal will double the number of berths simultaneously from 3 to 6.

With this expansion, many cruise ships will be able to dock quickly and easily for the forthcoming sporting events to be held in Brazil.

Installation of wind turbines in the Prados wind farm. This wind farm supplies power to the towns of Guardia and Celorico da Beira. The project involves the installation of 17 wind turbines in order to increase electricity production in Freguesias de Prados e Rapa (concelho de Celorico da Beira) e Videmonte, Vila Soeiro, Mizarela, Aldeia Viçosa, Pero Soares e Maçainhas (concelho da Guarda). Construction of new warehouses for the Port of Maputo Customs in order to increase their capacity. The new warehouses have a metal structure with self-levelling concrete slabs. Concrete pumping was performed using truck-mounted pumps and the work carried out at night due to the traffic in the Port of Maputo.

In its plan to expand its network of public hospitals, the Government of Chile has intensified the construction and expansion of hospitals in the metropolitan area. One of these is the Félix Bulnes hospital extension. The work requires a wide-range telescopic pumping unit to cover all pumping needs, so Gebomsa provides the services with the truck-mounted pump with the widest boom range it possesses in Chile. The efficiency of this unit is unbeatable as it is capable pumping all the structural elements the work requires.

Google has started operating in Chile with a major project involving the construction of buildings to house the company’s servers in Latin America. This involves concreting various elements on site, overcoming barriers such as the complexity of access. Gebomsa is actively involved in the pumping of the interior slabs of the buildings with a large capacity stationary unit and the design of piping in order to fill the gaps that hinder the progress of the work. The pumping of this work was performed with truck-mounted pumps and static units.

In its process of expansion and growth in the mining industry, Minera Lumina Coopers has decided to expand its crushing plants in order to increase its annual production. Gebomsa provides all the pumping services for the new construction. The main items to be concreted in this project are foundations, girders, composite slabs and all the civil works included in the project. These services were provided using truck-mounted pumps.

The layout is designed for standard gauge, high-speed double track for passenger and freight traffic. Unique elements of this layout include the viaduct over the River Almonte, 996 m in length, with 384 m arch-type central span, a world record in its type. Three more viaducts are also planned; one over the Santa Ana creek, 341 m in length, and two over the Villaluengo and Cagancha creeks, both 431 m in length.

This dual-carriageway is part of an aggressive investment plan being made by the Polish government in the infrastructure of Warsaw. The S2 dual-carriageway is a Warsaw bypass, starting in Konotopa, ending in Puławska and connecting with the A2 motorway, which links the capital to the west of the country.

Various pumping services were required by this project, including the Pulawska street viaducts. Pumping was performed using truck-mounted pumps.

This work is part of a infrastructure plan of the city of Sao Paulo, whose aim is to unite different neighbourhoods and key points of the city, such as Moema, Vila Mariana and Brooklyn. Construction of one of the tallest residential buildings in São Paulo, with a height of 153 metres and 43 floors. The Josephine Baker Tower is located in the Vila Formosa of Sao Paulo. Gebomsa pumps the concrete for this construction using static equipment and truck-mounted pumps. The pumping done with stationery pumps had a connection of up to 130 linear metres of vertically placed piping.

Lagares de Chicureo is a housing project built by the Siena construction company; located in the town of Colina just a few minutes from the economic centre of Santiago. Lagares is a private housing project, consisting of 73 Mediterranean houses on plots of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 m2. The main aim of this work is to combine the natural surroundings and peace of Chicureo with proximity to the city.
