Gebomsa participates in the construction of the Tresfjord Bridge in Norway

Continuing with its international expansion plan, Gebomsa is participating in the construction of the Tresfjord Bridge as sole provider of concrete pumping services.

The Tresfjord Bridge will be built by the German industrial service provider and construction company, Bilfinger, and will significantly reduce traffic in the area by linking the towns of Vestnes and Vikebukt, located in the Vestlandet region of Norway. The bridge will have a length of 1,300 metres of road supported on 19 concrete pillars erected in the waters of the Tresfjord fjord.

Over a period of two years, Gebomsa will pump over 25,000 m3 of concrete with truck-mounted pumps of 34 to 42 metres in length.

“Our experience in the industry and know-how enable us to meet the needs of Bilfinger by performing the concrete pumping services in such a limited space as a ferry”, says Sergiusz Kocowski, Gebomsa’s Eastern and Central European Manager. “Pumping precision and weather planning are key factors when performing pumping services in this project”.
